SPHERICAL BASTARDS
 
Everything communicates. Everything possesses a certain kind of intelligence, claimed Michel Serres. Human intelligence, plant intelligence, animal intelligence, intelligence of the universe, intelligence of the machines, intelligence of languages - all different in kind, but coextensive and coexistent, and never in direct competition. 
There is only information, whose enormous stock in the world, in a very large number, mathematically finite but physically infinite, creates an open history of science. 
Matter doesn't exist; only forms are found, like atoms, and all the way down to the tiniest particle, with or without mass, innumerable forms, as well as their chaotic or ordered mixture, a system or noise which shakes their innumerable multiplicity as in a basket. Information and energy of the world can easily be swallowed by the black hole. No exit. No end. Marking the collapse of the supermassive star. The escape velocity exceeds the speed of light. Black hole is an endless storage of information, but communicates through event horizon. Can we imagine black hole as a possible negentropic space, instead of the epitome of a negative space? If yes, can we ask: What kind of intelligence does the black hole emit? What kind of synthetic alphabet do we need in order to communicate? What kind of characters are formed around the event horizon? Does this character need quantum dramaturgy or a dramaturgy of Newtonian physic to speak?
Let’s set the elliptical stage of a possible character (we shall name him “Spherical Bastard”) that would evolve around the black hole. His stage is a zone for excluded identities, where the clear, sunlit, brilliant focus of reason and measurement is left behind. Spherical Bastard is engulfed with darkness that blinds his reasoned center. He is in a black box, or better, a sphere. Spherical Bastard is probably assigned by birth as a full mass, and an invisible particle; he is of assumed royal uniqueness – he is the invisible One.  Suddenly, from being the king of the stage, he is removed from the centerstage by the event horizon. A periphery that gradually peels off its layers until nothing recognizable is left of him. A black hole. Its objectivity is the horizon, somewhat of a transparent fuzziness, and all the colors of his spectral garment become fuzzy as well – he is both one and multiple. The horizon becoming the hole, while the hole is articulated by the horizon.

Only like that, standing somewhere between dark matter and bosons bending into abyss, our Bastard can become a delicate coder and a curious cypherer of black hole. That is his challenge – an invention of new ways of communication around the void.
A Thousand Plateaus is a proposal of such communication. A black hole is an empty one; it consists of concentrated energy capable of swallowing everything crossing its horizon, while everything communicates by emitting particles. A social or psychic black hole can either trap subjectivity in its deadly grip or, if navigated successfully, can provide energy and an atmosphere. A line of flight.  A character. Lines of flight as a synthetic alphabet of the black hole.
